Dr. Jason Berk specializes in Orthodontics & Dentofacial Orthopedics and enjoys making a difference in each of his patient’s lives. Whether he is treating young children or adults, it is his goal to make the journey of creating beautiful smiles easy and memorable. Dr. Berk attended Boston University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree, graduating with Cum Laude Honors in 2004. He attended SUNY Buffalo School of Dental Medicine, earning a degree in Doctor of Dental Surgery in 2009. He graduated amongst the top of his class with Magna Cum Laude Honors, was inducted into Omicron Kappa Upsilon honor society and received numerous other awards. He completed a one-year general practice residency at Stony Brook University Hospital and went on to complete his three-year postdoctoral orthodontic training at Stony Brook University School of Dental Medicine. He has done extensive research and was awarded a grant to present his published paper on the “Effects of platelet-derived growth factor, vitamin D and parathyroid hormone on osteoblasts derived from cancer patients on chronic bisphosphonate therapy.” He is certified to offer Invisalign and 3M Incognito braces. Furthermore, Dr. Berk is affiliated with the American Dental Association, American Association of Orthodontists, and New York State Dental Association where he attends meetings to stay up-to-date with his profession.
Dr. Berk currently resides with his wife in Manhattan. He enjoys traveling and spending time with friends and family during his spare time.
